I was born and raised in Rhode Island living in both Barrington and Bristol. However, my family moved to Lake Placid, NY while I was in college. I started competitive fencing fencing at the age of 8 and retired when I was 18. Upon graduation I attended Stony Brook University in Long Island, New York, however ultimately I found I wanted to be closer to home and transfer to the University of Rhode Island. At the University of Rhode Island I am currently a senior political science major as well as a communications and leadership studies minor. Through out my time at URI I was a member of the Chi Omega fraternity which offered me several leadership positions including serving as the 2022 director of programing. I am currently serving on student senate as an on campus representative and I am a member of the academics community. I love to be involved on campus and have been very grateful for the leadership opportunities and experiences I have received while attending the URI. I love my job at home in New York, I work at a brewery called Big Slide Brewery as a hostess. This summer I will be moving into a server position. I have valued and enjoyed my time working at this location because of the support I receive from management and my co-workers. During my time I have been able to work on my confidence and communication skills. It is an environment where you are supported and encouraged to grow. At school I am currently an Intern at the Rhode Island Commission for Human Rights. Real life experience has been so valuable to me as this has solidified my desire to become a lawyer. I enjoy working through cases and finding creative solutions. Outside of work and school I enjoying hiking, running, singing, and reading. My favorite author is Mitch Albom and my favorite book is the Five People You Meet in Heaven because it reminds me of my Grandfather. My Grandfather is my biggest inspiration as he exuded kindness, passion, and loyalty and was a large part in my dream to become a lawyer. I want to make him proud by fighting for those with out a voice and for what is right. My passion is to help people and make laugh, and that is what I hope to bring to my future career. I also have two dogs who I love with all my heart!
