I identify and analyse risks and operational issues within the business. I develop plans and lead teams in delivering projects to mitigate these risks and improve operations. With a keen interest in developing frameworks that are both effective, meaningful and simple to implement, I work with many different stakeholders across my role, including internal team members and external trustees and regulators. I have sound knowledge of how to analyse and modify data to create business models and operations in line with relevant legislation and regulatory requirements. I possess a strong understanding of regulatory compliance and have experience engaging with regulatory bodies such as ASIC. I am experienced in operational frameworks, reporting, data analysis and modification, data testing, change management, risk analysis, employee training and presenting to a range of different committees. I am comfortable chairing meetings, creating and distributing briefing notes, background papers and reports. In my role within the insurance operations team, we completed an array of projects to enhance our operational efficiency and ensure a high level of service quality. The projects I completed and spearheaded included the development of operational manuals, creation and roll-out of insurance premium calculators, and comprehensive employee training. One of my main responsibilities involved training team members to use manual processes within the business, where technology did not allow for things to be automated. During this time myself and my manager created a robust quality assurance framework that remains an integral part of the business operations today. Additionally, I created a library of operational manuals and training tools and worked closely with legal and actuarial teams to ensure risk control. I also played a role in the daily calculation of client insurance premiums, leveraging my expertise to ensure precise and fair pricing for our valued clients.
