- Reporting to CTO- Managing a team of system, support and network (dedicated on demand) engineers and programmers (dedicated on demand).- Main Responsibilities:o TV Product/Service Life-cycle management of the TV ecosystem in cooperation with solution providers support engineers, system integrators and project/product managerso Communication/Coordination of work with 3rd party partners and solution providers (Ericsson/Tandberg, Verimatrix, Edgeware, Motorola) o Monitoring of the full ecosystem within the core IPTV network. Statistical analyses and trend investigations for problem solving and system optimizationo Cooperation with Network team for media content delivery optimizationo Coordination of tasks with other business units in terms of service configuration, implementation and provision to add values for the customers- Main Achievements:o Optimization of Ericsson IPTV Application Platform - IAP 2.1 Single Availability ecosystem dimensioned for 10K subscribers to support over 35K subscribers (including Glassfish AS configuration, MSP configuration, etc...)o IPTV ecosystem upgrade and subscribers migration from Ericsson IAP 2.1 SA to Ericsson MSMW 3.0 HA. Role and activities: * Project management from Ucom side* Cooperation with Ericsson system engineers and system architects during estimation, planing, deployment and migration phases* Seamless upgrade of Motorola STBs from KreaTV 3.8 to KreaTV 4.4 FW version* Setup of redundant STB infocast servers to support multifunctional, multiportal environment for supported STBso Capacity estimation, architecture design and configuration optimization of video streamers (Orbit 2X) and central repository (HP MSA2700) in Edgeware cluster to support Catch-up/Time-shift TV functionality of over 110 channels in 5 days window without failure rateo Setup of fully independent storages for VoD assets and Catchup recordings to optimize repository performances for sequential reading and mixed-workload correspondingly
