Implemented the backend of an IoT product for a major Access Control Company that connects Garage Door Openers with Smartphone apps. The system manages millions of concurrent device connections along with hundreds concurrent user connections. The solution utilizes a microservices architecture combined with a message broker to handle the volume of calls. The back end consisted of multiple Windows services and an ASP.NET Web API instance. I worked closely with the client’s firmware team to implement low level communication channels with the connected devices.Implemented a pair of websites for a medical accreditation broker. One website allows providers to report continuing education credits for physicians while the second website allows physicians to view their transcript. Both websites were written with ReactJS front ends and an ASP.NET 5 backendImplemented a corporate intranet for a major retailer. The solution used a combination of SharePoint Online and a ReactJS single page application for the front end and an ASP.NET Web API for the backend. The intranet also integrates with a 3rd party time keeping product to allow frontline workers to view the schedule and request time off.Implemented a client portal for a private equity broker. The solution used a ReactJS single page application for the front end and an ASP.NET Web API for the backend.Implemented a service ticket tracking system for a medical devices company. The solution used Salesforce for the front end and an ASP.NET WCF application and a Windows Service for the backend. The Windows service pushed changes from a SQL database into Salesforce while the WCF application was used to sync from Salesforce and with 3rd party systems.
