In my coursework as an English major, I have learned the details that make for effective rhetoric--well written arguments, clear conclusions, and nuanced analyses, to name a few. These skills have been enhanced in the volunteer writing I do for arts nonprofit ArtsConnect, or at my copyediting internship at the Urban Morgan Institute's Human Rights Quarterly. The attentiveness and care I take in my writing is all in service of the multitude of writing I will do in Law School, as I work towards pursuing Contracts Law. I was fortunate enough to be a Fellow with the Lex Fellowship, to further solidify my career intentions by shadowing attorneys in London, England.
