I assist students in completion of in-class activities and hold weekly office hours to answer students’ questions about course material. I also hold exam review sessions and assist the instructor with grading course exams and assignments.

I attend Virginia Tech admissions open-house events and speak with prospective students, as well as participate in campus engagement opportunities for freshman and transfer neuroscience students.

As the Mission and Luminaria Executive, I lead a team of committee members and hold weekly meetings to accomplish our goal of increasing cancer awareness on campus and develope strategies for student engagement through highlighting Relay for Life’s mission.As a committee, we organize several mission-related boothing campaigns throughout the year that relate back to Relay for Life's mission, as well as several ceremonies that are held at our main event in the spring semester.

I encouraged campus engagement through organizing various outreach campaigns, activities, and networking initiatives alongside members of my committee.

I served as a liaison between the executive board and 20+ team captains, utilizing interpersonal skills to educate captains on event logistics and motivated fundraising goals all year long
