I joined in Voith Hydro Shanghai begins of year 2013 as project manager of hydro power station for BOP (balance of plant) scope and I report to VP of PM. BOP was included mechanical, electrical and automation for Hydro power station, relate to oil/air/water system, generator circuit breaker, excitation system, units condition monitoring, static frequency converter system, isolated phase bus, relay protection system, computer supervisory control system and so on. Transfer from offer to offer (OTO) stage to offer to contract (OTC) stage, project managers perform the responsibility for overall project execution. I am responsible for BOP project management, the major duties are:-Create and execute BOP project plan and revise as appropriate to meet project progress change and requirement. -Manage the day-to-day operational aspects of projects, there are four project (Hong Ping/Lam Takong/Tarbela/Nam Hinboun) execution at present. -Coordinate with customer and design institute to match all technical and commercial requirements.-Manage and monitor all BOP subcontractors with purchasing Dept. to match project progress.-Implement review and quality assurance procedures in accordance with our policy and process to ensure profitable and successful execution as measured by project goals (quality, cost, schedule etc.) and customer satisfaction.，-Prepare and update project report on regular basis by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information, evaluate the trends. -Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.-Follow up BOP products manufacturing, quality control, supervise, FAT, delivery process.-Work with site manager for freight delivery, quality managing, installation, commissioning and coordination with customer. -Focus on project schedule and cost control during project execution of BOP scope.-Organize design liaison meeting or special meeting with related people to solve related technical problems.

I am responsible for overall project execution; make master plan of each project and the whole operation progress. Also involves in other functional departments in company, such as engineering design, purchasing, commercial, quality control and manufacturing department. According to the master plan implementation, I should organize coordination meetings to solve involved problems in the course of operation.

I was responsible for welding machine factory daily work, directly report to general manager of the Lincoln Electrical Shanghai. Production manager, technology manager, material & planning manager, quality manager and purchasing supervisor report to me directly, the subordinates are total of more than 150 employees.My major duties as:- Reporting to company management and senior team to make strategic direction, annual plan, market expansion, new products promotion;- Be responsible for the day to day operation, arrange production tasks, planning, material purchasing, supplier management, quality control, process and equipment management, cost control, warehouse management, personnel management, and coordination with design, sales, EHS, personnel departments.- To control fix overhead and variable overhead and expenses, keep normal operation under controlling cost. - Make technical improvement and purchasing control to cost down continuously;- Be responsibility for overall product quality, continuous and effective improvement, having KAIZEN activity to reduce the unqualified products arising;- Lean production organization, 5S on-site management, visual management;- Each department staff recruitment and adjustment, staff training and performance evaluation;

From January 2005, I joined in Shanghai Lincoln electric co., LTD for welding machine factory prepares to establish work. At begin I take on plant electrical equipment selection, installation, commissioning, plant maintenance; make technology documents. Meanwhile, I was responsible for the electric power distribution installation project in plant. From make technical scheme, suppliers’ selection, purchasing quotation, to project construction supervision, commissioning acceptance, and finish basic electrical power in factory finally. By the end of 2005, we were going to introduce the first welding machine products POWERMAG from Poland. I was responsible for the process documents preparation, tools selection, and workers’ recruitment and training. In 2006, I was formally appointed as the production & technology manager, reporting to welding factory manager directly. I was responsible for daily production operation; include production planning, cost control, daily equipment maintenance, personnel assignment, quality analysis, warehouse and logistics, EHS and coordinate between each department. Meanwhile, I take over technology process management. The responsibility including working arrangement, process engineer recruitment, new equipment selection, and technology documents checking and approval. At that time, we had the second series of welding machine POWERPLUS trial and production. I was responsible for workers, process engineer's recruitment and training, equipment improvement debugging, transformer production, wiring harness production, welding machine assembly, and coordinate to solve quality issues. Due to the active participation of all colleagues; make new product development only in two months and then for mass production for 50 sets per month. Due to we got unprecedented great sale order, we have to speed up. Through hire staff, equipment procurement, operators training, the output of welding machine POWERPLUS were 600 sets per month in three months.

In 1994 I joined in ABB Shanghai transformer co., LTD., and be engaged in the transformer final test. I contacted the foreign advanced technology and brand new concept at that stage. I grew up quickly on technical knowledge in ABB. In 1996 I joined in design department as transformer design engineer. As I had test experience before, I quickly became master design engineer. I had finished many large, medium, small and special transformer design, such as SPZ9-20000/35 which was still operating safely in Shanghai JinJiang hotel underground substation; ZBS9-M-2000, S9-M–800 rectifier and distribution transformer were operating in Bao Steel, Yangtse Gorges and so on. In 2000 years I was appointed as technical support supervisor. That was a very challenging job. To communicate with different customers, negotiate technical agreement, contract review, products quotation, on-site guidance, etc. Because I had great technical background, I solved all kinds of transformer technical problems and finished technical contract signature. This job develops my social ability, internal coordination and solving problems ability.I worked at ABB Transformer Company for ten years. I learned a lot of advanced technology and various work experiences. I prefer to working on technical field.
