Inspect by visual examination or by precision measurement with instrument, gages, patterns, designs, etc., assembly transmissions, gear boxes and other dynamic components for finishes, precision mating or fitting, sizes, dimensions, layouts, locations, and quality of workmanship. Work from complicated or to detailed blueprints, diagrams, engineering acceptance specs to obtain proper specifications. Evaluate the condition of transmissions and gear box component after acceptance testing. Approve acceptable work or reject all work which fails to meet required standards and recommend corrective action to prevent reoccurance.

Performed Non Destructive Inspection - (Liquid Penetrant, Magnetic Particle, Eddy Current and Ultrasonic) on gas turbine engines. Visually inspected helicopter gas turbine engine components in accordance to overhaul manuals. Accepted and rejected components. Wrote rework documents of parts needing repair to onsite machine shop / mechanics or outside vendors. Used a variety of hand and marking tools, precision measuring instruments, special alignment, testing devices and equipment.
