At webslingerz, I was responsible for our large corporate accounts for 13 years. I was an active media developer as well as a team leader responsible for delivering high-end media content and applications on tight timelines for global audiences.For 10 years I led a team of designers and developers that created and maintained the public and internal web presence, as well as other digital marketing materials and applications, for Nortel Networks. Their global public-presence site was localized to over 50 countries in 18 languages, and encompassed hundreds of thousands of pages and documents.I oversaw a number of major branding implementations at the creative direction of some of the largest advertising and marketing agencies in the world. These rebrands involved global site template overhauls that had to be centralized and applied to hundreds of sites and applications. My team and I were always able to accomplish these massive projects on time and on budget, and under great pressureI worked with client contacts in every region of the world and have experience dealing with timezone differences and culturally diverse business contacts.The most important skills I have learned over the years working with a global enterprise client are effective communication and consulting, and flexible, responsive thinking about all aspects of design and development.
