Current• Manage 25 commercial electrical construction jobs from planning to closeout. Project totals range from $10,000 to $4M. A project life cycle can last from 6 months to 3 years.• Developed a process workflow tool for my position to increase efficiencies resulting in trust and confidence from supervisors. Implemented this tool and resulted in 2 hours saved per project and decreased scope creep. • Responsible for the submittal approval process and material procurement for projects.• Build and maintain professional relationships with external customers by providing regular job status updates.• Identify project challenges and act as a communication bridge with multiple logistical agencies to meet requirements.• Work with customers to improve lead times on material to meet project completion dates.• Collaborate with sales team on bid-leveling and negotiating change orders.• Continuously work with team members to improve standard operating procedures that will improve job flow and minimize errors.• Took over billing responsibility and created efficiency by restructuring the billing process and improving days between invoicing from 12 to 1. This resulted in saving the company 14% on investment charges for product. • Trained new Project Managers (internal & other locations) on the company’s standard operating procedures.• Volunteered to test new internal Job Management program during pilot period and offered feedback to improve reliability.
