Lead a group of URI students to Guatemala through the URI Service Corps- Alternative Spring Break program. My duties included picking the location, being in correspondence with contacts in Guatemala, budgeting, and fundraising. Our mission has been and will be alleviate poverty and offer safe and affordable housing. I will be returning as a leader to Guatemala in the Spring of 2020.

I worked on various projects saving money and preventing material defects for Toray. I had a heavy use of SAP and EAM operating systems throughout the internship. I had a total of over $11,000 in savings over the three months I was there. This role allowed me to become proficient in interpersonal communication as my main task was to negotiate price on various orders.
