Throughout my summer internship with PepsiCo, I operated as a supply chain leader on a self-propelled project to implement processes for the dallas Service Center - a Frito Lay Warehouse in the DFW Metroplex area. To accomplish this project, I established a databased program to provide greater visibility regarding the transfer trailer process the site utilizes daily. Additionally, I conducted an audit and re-allocation of inventory to various physical warehouse locations to promote greater efficiency and product flow. The last of my deliverables was to effectively integrate a cross-functional communication platform to facilitate easier conversation between various sectors of the business.

As an intern for Katz, I worked alongside the production manager and procurement director to perform a variety of tasks. I worked directly with both countries of origin as well as local warehouses and distributors to acquire coffee beans, scheduled transit with suppliers for Katz deliveries, coordinated with numerous vendors to place purchase orders to maintain adequate inventories, and assisted with bill payment by performing transactions audits to evaluate payment based on received or backordered shipments.
