In this role, I assist Instructor Jan Brintnall in administrating the course HB 203. HB 203 is Hospitality Communication. This course is designed to help hospitality business studentsarticulate their thoughts in a clear and concise manner. Students will learn to select and useappropriate formats for the audience, use the correct medium and adjust writing styleaccordingly, and identify the communication objective and communicate it clearly.Students will learn to spot, correct, and avoid common writing pitfalls. Students will gainvaluable experience analyzing, writing, and revising a broad spectrum of businessdocuments.For my second semester, I had the privilege of continuing my role for the HB 203 course and another course, HB 307 Hospitality Human Resources taught by Dr. Eileen Wilson. The HB 307 experience allowed me to take a deeper look at Human Resources and find innovative and interactive ways to teach the course.
