I focus on driving the mission Best Buddies which is inclusion of all within the school and community-based Friendship Programs. I manage a caseload of over thirty school chapters to ensure our programs provide a high-quality experience for people with disabilities and their peers as well. I am also in charge of the Nashville Citizens Program which is an Adult Friendship Program that focuses on creating intentional one to one friendships. In this role I am responsible for all the communicating with individuals with disabilities, their parents, and the peers. I match buddy pairs and plan and host events as well.

I worked one on one assisting a girl with Down syndrome. I helped her with routine tasks, exercising, cooking, communication skills, speech development, and social skills as well as develop a genuine friendship.

I worked set up for the Atlanta showroom leading up to both of the annual Wholesale Gift Shows in January and July. I also worked as a sales representative during the shows and worked directly with customers to show the products and make sure their needs were met.

I observed Speech Language thearpy sessions and assisted the speech therapist and the clinic with any needs. During my time shadowing in a pediatric clinic, I helped with a specialized Augmentative and Alternative Communication device (AAC), which focused on improving functional communication skills and increasing participation in therapy.
