As a member of the Delta Delta Delta Sorority, we are all given the task of raising money for children and their families that are in need due to cancer and other diagnoses that take them away from their normal lives and to St. Jude’s campus in Memphis, TN. Every year our chapter and others around the country put on philanthropic events to raise money for this organization. The events I have been involved in have been our Delta House of Pancakes and Desserts After Dark events that we sell tickets all over campus and give our community the opportunity to come to our house, enjoy some food and get to know more about our organization and what we do for our philanthropies.Nine years ago Tri Delta Nationals committed to raise $60 million in ten years and we met that goal in only eight years which was a huge accomplishment for Tri Delta overall!
