I am a project engineer with a growing firm with full in-house services available in the telecommunications industry. I recently obtained my PE in the state of North Carolina and have renewed my Certified Welding Inspector qualification with the AWS (which I maintain primarily for educational and engineering design reasons. I will likely be obtaining my PE in the commonwealth of Virginia soon.My recent telecommunications experience has delved more heavily into RISA 3D (finite-element) analyses of water towers, rooftop structures, wireless mounts, and reinforcement designs (e.g. detailed plate stress analysis). I have developed simplified analysis tools in excel for various types of structural systems, though VBA is not one of my skills. I tend to take on the harder projects and research what I need to know, work within what information I can get, and generally do my due diligence to get the most accurate answer possible for our customer. My work with CLS commonly deals with higher-risk scenarios than a typical monopole, guyed, or self-supported tower and plays well on my attention to detail.
