Worked in the club house restaurant has a bartender and waitress. Serving members and public food and drinks. Cleaned and maintained restaurant on a daily basis and answered phone calls and relayed messages to members and staff.

Working at the sanctuary I gained knowledge about wildlife rehabilitation, including wildlife identification, natural history and behavior, animal handling, animal husbandry, diagnostic procedures, fluid therapy, medicine administration, hygiene and quarantine protocols, environmental enrichment, release criteria, release site selection and human/wildlife conflict resolution. I also gained valuable work skills, such as working independently as part of a team with staff and volunteers, dealing with the public, time management and priority setting.

Worked during the summer mouths has a health and safety intern for GE Hitachi Nuclear, where i maintained and organized records. An example is updating MSDS sheets, organizing varying binders, writing and updating SOP's. Preformed daily and weekly inspections of the plant and office for health and safety concerns.
