I get the opportunity to intern at Crimson View Elementary School! I work with one specific class helping kids! I have loved watching these kids grow in the short amount of time that I have been working at the school!

At Hurst clothing, I get the opportunity to learn a lot about how to deal with customers and work on my upsell with every product we get. I open and close and do lots of odd-end jobs around the store if anyone needs help!

I run Hurst Clothings Social Media. I make multiple posts, learn about demographics, and I also get to see how our apparel is interacted with.

While working for Hurst I learned to put clothing items together to make them the most appealing to the eye. I also learned how to pose and make things look appealing. I learned a lot about demographics and business.

I was leveled up two months into working, which was an honor. From the start, I helped open and close 4 days out of the week. I normally worked 6-8 hours a day and 5 days of the week. I helped over 250 customers a day and double that during the hotter months. I had to work well with others because teamwork was so important. I was rotated through the front register, headset, lobby, shaver, smoothie maker, filler, ice maker, and helping with any other jobs that needed to be done.

I worked with children ranging from 2-14 years old. I was in charge of 15-20 kids per class. After working for 3 months I was promoted to head instructor which meant I would open and close. I would also handle classes by myself. I made drills to help certain kids learn specific skills. During the time I worked at St. George tumbling I taught skills from level one to level four. When I was promoted to head instructor I also got the responsibility of dealing with injuries, upset parents, and upset children. I comforted crying kids while teaching a class of 15-20 other kids at the same time. Making sure the kids are happy and learning was my number one priority.
