I provide patron-specific library assistance, youth-focused educational programming, and literacy-centered community outreach in my role as Library Services Associate at the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh. I initially gained experience working in both academic and specialized libraries while studying at Case Western Reserve University, where I earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology in 2018. I began my career at Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh shortly after graduating college in 2018, and I have served in my most current role as a Library Services Associate for the past four years.My experience in both privately funded and public nonprofit libraries has helped me cultivate my ability to interact with and empower diverse populations of library users. I have also gained a passion and aptitude for community outreach, as well as a continuing desire to help bridge the gap between valuable resources and those who wish to utilize them.
