-Assisted with data collection and analysis on a project focusing on the behavior, tool use, and ecology of western chimpanzees (Pan troglodytes)-Spent four days per week in the field working with a team of local rangers to set up and retrieve camera traps in chimpanzee territories, as well as begin the process of habituation-Processed and cataloged more than 500 chimpanzee tools into a spreadsheet and analyzed camera trap footage, recording identities of known individuals, group composition, and behavior

-Assisted with animal husbandry and data collection in a herpetology lab studying evolution and ecology of communication in gray tree frogs (Hyla versicolor)-Husbandry involved cleaning cages, monitoring individual health, and feeding-Assisted with collection of blood and tissue samples for genetic analysis
