Development of a customized RedHat Linux OSOS hardening and software package development

• Developed an automated pill & liquid dispenser prototype to be presented to capital investors. • System uses CircuitPython and can dispense medicine at specified times as well as request assistance from a caregiver.

• Led climbing introduction program for kids 5-11 years.

• Submitted proposals for internal and external research funding. Presented in front of SME's from multiple departments• Initially acquired 30K to research autonomous defect detection for 3D printed parts and was able to use results of the first project to acquire $300K to continue the research.• In order to train a model to detect defects, my team and I designed a data collection system that was mounted to a commercial 3D printer. The platform used sensors controlled by Python on a Raspberry Pi.• Co-developed data processing scripts in MATLAB to clean and format the collected data.• Developed C++ signal processing applications in a Linux environment• Designed a training environment in Gazebo for a semi-autonomous robotics competition using ROS.• Worked with Academia to publish research on additive manufacturing.

• Performed research on Human-Robot Interaction. The goal was to collect data on how humans move and pick up items and use the data to program a 6 DOF robotic arm to pick up items in the same way.•Led a sub team in designing and developing a wearable device for capturing the human movement data.• The device was a glove that had flex sensors on each finger and 9DOF IMU on the hand. All of the sensors were connected to a custom build Arduino shield where the data was collected.

This was the early stages of the company. They were developing a platform to analyze walking patterns of athletes using a "smart sock." I designed and populated multiple iterations of the PCB for the platform.
