I am a first year Masters of Resource and Environmental Managment student at Dalhousie University. I have worked at Ontario Parks for five years in several different positions. This experience has inspired me to pursue a career in the environmental field. Through my education I have developed an interest in natural resource management as well as traditional and local ecological knowledge. I am extremely interested in nature and I like to spend my free time exploring new parks. I am a fast learner, I am open to trying new opportunities, and I work well with others. Through my previous job experience I have learned how to work well in a team setting, I am able to resolve conflicts, and I have learned valuable leadership skills. I believe that every new opportunity brings something to learn from and I look forward to each new lesson.
