About Avery Stanton
I was raised in La Grande, OR, and moved to Coeur d'Alene, ID after high school to play soccer for North Idaho College. After two years, I chose to retire from my soccer career and pursue two bachelor's degrees in Business Administration (concentration in Marketing) and Communications from Eastern Oregon University. After graduating, I spent a short period in Phoenix, AZ, and then relocated to Joseph, OR. I am currently working at Wallowa Memorial Hospital and Medical Clinics as a Communications Coordinator. I love my job and community, and I find joy living in Wallowa County. Never would I have guessed that I would be working in health care in rural Oregon, but the universe had a plan and delivered. Tucked away in the northeastern corner of Oregon is where I plan to stay for a while. If you're interested in working in health care, relocating to rural Oregon, or just searching for a greater purpose in your career and lifestyle, please reach out!
