I work in the corporate head quarters as a liaison between a few hundred of our technicians and 16 (and counting) of our manufacturing partners. The majority of my work is handled through the computer via emailing, viewing, creating and reviewing excel spreadsheets, helping to oversee billing for select manufactures, dispatching calls to the correct technicians and districts for service, and other projects as needed. We are a growing company even in our specific department. This growth makes it necessary to learn new skills and processes at a fast pace. In this role I was the 10th grade English teacher for 80 students for the entire 3rd quarter of the academic year. I was responsible for attendance, curriculum, grading, parent/teacher conferences, and everything in between in the full role of a licensed teacher. I also was the teachers assistant for a 12th grade Creative Writing course. During my time in this position I also became a member of the Pan African Student group and was a classroom host for the schools dance teams practice. Greater Minneapolis-St. Paul Area

In this position I was a resident adviser for 36 freshman per academic year. This entitled me to run three programs per quarter, one for only my residents, one for my residence hall, and another campus wide. These programs had to either be entertaining, informative, or promotional to on/off campus resources, I had to do one of each, each academic quarter. Being on call multiple days monthly, including weekends, were also required for this position. This also required me to have a lot of training for various emergency situations. Finally, on the staff, we participated in intense leadership and team building activities for two weeks before each semester. These two weeks were a requirement and we were scheduled for 12 hours of training each day.

Greater Minneapolis-St. Paul Area

In admissions I worked as the main assistant of the visit coordinator and replacement in her absence. I was responsible for handling eight phone lines, the admissions email queue, welcoming visitors and setting up their information log and visits to the college. Communication with potential students, parents, and the entire faculty of the campus was important to be the most effective in my position.
