As a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Global Studies and History, I have gained a strong foundation in scientific principles and a deep understanding of global issues. My involvement as an elected officer in the Ballroom dance club honed my teaching abilities, effective communication skills, and event organization expertise while liaising with both members and external organizations. In addition, my experience as a hostess in the restaurant industry taught me crucial interpersonal skills and invaluable time management abilities. Moreover, my study semester in Rome allowed me to foster cultural competency and imparted the ability to navigate unfamiliar territories independently. I have also furthered my understanding of the healthcare field through shadowing and volunteering at dental clinics.
