The nation’s oldest continuously published college weeklyThe Bowdoin Orient is a student-run weekly publication dedicated to providing news and information relevant to the College community. Editorially independent of the College and its administrators, the Orient pursues such content freely and thoroughly, following professional journalistic standards in writing and reporting. The Orient is committed to serving as an open forum for thoughtful and diverse discussion and debate on issues of interest to the College community.

• Assisted in the restructuring of their youth After School program to establish greater grant opportunities and success rates • Researched other non-profits in the area to examine their structure and pricing to better position Hall House within their proposed market • Identified and implemented changes to database used to update and solicit donors • Enhanced website and marketing materials to improve effectiveness of their advertising resources and tailor to their Hispanic constituents

• Collaborated with marketing team on RBC's two main philanthropic events, Trade for the Kids and Race for the Kids, including idea generation to drive employee involvement and fund raising, media exposure and event execution• Assisted in the creation of a firm-wide monthly newsletter highlighting key deals, firm sponsored conferences and employee recognition awards. Tasks included writing copy and working with graphic designers to edit and produce final copy of the newsletter• Researched non-profit boards that RBC is involved with through the firm's foundation and created database to serve as a networking tool to develop relationships with other board members
