I took a bit of an unusual path to get here—I started two careers at the same time. First, as a technologist—developing cutting-edge software for some of the world's leading technology companies, as well as dynamic startups. While at the same time, I was creating a Home Goods and Apparel company, designing products, wrenching on sewing machines in our 8,000 sf factory, and crafting displays for our award-winning Downtown Portland, OR retail store.B2B sales became core to our business, but the lack of software nearly killed us. So, I built Candid.Our roots are in Apparel and Home Goods, but we have grown into a tailored solution where you can sell pretty much anything on Candid—CPG, Grocery, Bike Parts, Pet Supplies, and everything in between.Since then, my passion for the industry has grown.
