Veterinary Technician, Customer Service Representative, And Kennel Assistant
Current• Load and complete technician appointments including, anal gland exams, nail trims, and vaccine injections.• Put charges on customer’s accounts• Deal with customer transactions• Work well with the doctors on staff and provide aid during their appointments• Conduct lab work such as urinalyses, fecals, and bloodwork• Be able to have conversations with clients about pet care• Be able to both call clients and answers phones and provide any assistance necessary• Schedule wellness exams, surgeries, and technician appointments• Clean up at the end of the day which involved; vacuuming, mopping, disinfecting surfaces and lab equipment, opening and closing exam rooms, as well as ensuring bloodwork to be sent out is ready for pick up• Check in boarding dogs• Conduct safe play group environments for dogs• Administer any medications prescribed by the hospital and mark on a treatment sheet• Write in patient charts and keep digital files updated• Fill medications
