Senior Marketing Manager, School Markets
Current• Responsible for supporting the Vice President, Book Clubs in optimizing the growth of the Book Clubs and Book Fairs businesses by meeting or surpassing revenue and margin targets, including the marketing and merchandising of Book Clubs and Book Fairs product, programs, and the creation of all print and digital sales and marketing collateral. • Responsible for the development and execution of marketing programs and strategies to enhance the Book Clubs and Book Fairs print and online promotions.• Supervises and directs a dynamic Marketing team across the School Market group, including the development of general work objectives, scheduling, and organization of work assignments. • Manages eCommerce marketing assets across all platforms. • Manages Book Fairs email initiatives and Online Toolkit.• Manages social media campaigns across all platforms.• Collaborates with Director, Book Fairs Sales on the coordination of all chairperson/principal outreach, communication, conferences, and programs.• Fosters relationships with US Book Clubs and Book Fairs Marketing groups to plan the direction of the Canadian marketing plans, sharing current information and purchasing trends and communicates results.• Represents Book Clubs and Book Fairs at internal cross-channel marketing meetings. Acts as the main liaison for communication and reporting on all marketing plans. • Provides reporting and analysis for sales and marketing results for key brands and provides recommendations for promotion strategies.• Participates in the development and implementation of specific marketing strategies for each business.• Participates in the annual preparation of the fiscal budget and support materials. • Keeps abreast of current affairs, trends, and practices in the market that may affect the Book Clubs and Book Fairs businesses.• Defines new trends and opportunities to address the competition and improve customer experience with Book Clubs and Book Fairs.
