Designed and conducted a semester long project that was presented then published as a 20 page report in the Menlo School Biotech Archive. The project included investigating the effects of long-term exposure to nicotine on the upregulation of nicotinic acetylcholine receptors in crickets and then conducting statistical analysis to analyze our findings.

Conducted numerous research projects in my Neuroscience, Advanced Topics in Biology, and Biotech courses. Select work includes:- analyzing the effects of nicotine on the upregulation of nicotinic acetylcholine receptors in crickets- the retraining of a cockroach's baseline scent preferences to prove long-term potentiation- observing the effect of nicotine on spontaneous action potentials in insects- determining the relationship between artificially applied frequency and muscle contractions

Analyzed a variety of offerings in the field of bariatrics. Drove literature and patent reviews on alternative approaches and created a competitive scorecard across the industry.
