Hello, I’m Avery Maldonado! I am a student at the University of Texas at San Antonio majoring in Communication with a Public Relations concentration and a minor in marketing. I anticipate graduation in the Spring of 2025 and am so beyond excited to start in the industry. I am the VP of Finance for the PRSSA chapter at UTSA in which I work with a team to improve my PR skills, fundraise, and collaborate on ideas and events. This chapter has opened so many doors for me already and it has given me some of the best experiences I’ve had at UTSA. Currently, I am looking for internship opportunities in public relations and marketing that will educate me with new and important skills that I can implement in my career. Personal growth is what I live for and in an industry that is always evolving, there is so much opportunity to broaden my knowledge.
