Current-Doubled the number of nurses employed as inadequate staffing was the number-one concern clinic-wide-Developed, implemented, and utilized comprehensive RN training guideline that covered triage resources, workflows, need-to-know medications, and social determinants of health resources for patients -Provided patient care to complex patients requiring higher-level coordination, communication, and clinical judgment -Oversaw and mentored nursing staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement in care practices.-Received feedback of further-clarification-needed topics from the nurses and organized specialist presentations at monthly nurse meetings (topics include worker’s compensation, mandatory reporting musculoskeletal assessments, etc.) to address knowledge gaps -Collaborated with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute healthcare programs aimed at community wellness such as Social Determinants of Health RN Referrals and Adult Health Education Programs-Co-lead the Infection Control Committee to instigate and troubleshoot infectious concerns clinic-wide including creating an isolation protocol adapted and utilized clinic-wide -Led the COVID-19 Task Force which implemented and enforced COVID-19-related policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to national and county guidelines.-Presented at the 2023 HRSA Audit with zero critiques or negative feedback for the Department of Nursing audited criteria including Continuity of Care and After-Hours Workflows -Developed policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements. These policies include the implementation of tuberculosis screening protocols, standing order protocols for URI-Symptomatic patients, and flipping registered nurse appointments to billable provider visits-Updated registered nurse and medical assistant competencies for use clinic-wide to ensure continued education, competency, and comfort with clinic skills
