I am currently a third-year Psychology major at the University of New Mexico who hopes to pursue a career in Montessori Education. After working as a teachers assistant for the last five years at a Montessori preschool, I have altered my educational focus to child psychology and management. Beyond my education, I have had the opportunity to work in two Montessori schools as an assistant teacher. In the future, I plan to become a lead Montessori teacher while also obtaining my Montessori Administrators certification. In addition to the Montessori philosophy, I am highly interested in mental and behavioral health of the preschool child, as well as play therapy. I am passionate about what I do, and hope that one day I am able to help change the lives of future generations for the better!
