Hi, I'm Avery Sziksai, a Senior at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, with the bulk of my education in Apparel Design. This program has enabled me to blend creativity with business through its courses, enhancing my understanding of the design process from start to finish and has prepared me for real-world challenges in the industry. I have a passion for designing and working with others to make ideas come to life which is why I chose this career path. Being a designer and an athlete, I have always dreamed of owning my own athleisure company and I believe it's possible through the experience I have gained in my classes and future knowledge I will acquire with internships. As a student and employee, I am recognized for my strong work ethic, leadership abilities, and effective communication skills. I am enthusiastic about applying these strengths to my future roles and contributing meaningfully to the teams I join. Currently, I am focused on pursuing a role in design and marketing within the Raleigh or Greensboro-High Point areas to further enhance my skills and industry knowledge.
