I am an Information Security Risk Specialist at Booz Allen Hamilton, a leading management and technology consulting firm, where I support the delivery of cybersecurity solutions for various clients. I am a Veteran, I hold an active TS/SCI clearance and CompTIA Security+.Before joining Booz Allen Hamilton, I served as an Information System Security Officer and System Administrator onboard the USS Essex, managing the cyber security proficiency of 50 personnel and overseeing the administration and security of seven enclaves, 300 servers, 30 routers and switches, and 900 assets for over 2,000 personnel. I employed various tools like ESS, ACAS, Linux RHEL, Microsoft Windows OS, VMWare, Cisco Routers and Switches, Command Prompt, Powershell, Cisco ASA Firewalls, Cisco ASDM, Cisco ISE, and Microsoft Forefront TMG Web Proxy to secure the network and systems. Previously, I also worked as a Security Operations Center Watch Officer and Information System Security Officer at Naval Computer and Telecommunications Station Far East Yokosuka. I monitored, detected, and analyzed Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) activity, malware propagation, social engineering attempts, and the overall health and compliance of assets for the Navy's ONE-NET Far East network, which caters to 29,000 users over 10 regions.I am passionate about securing enterprise networks and advancing my skills in the cybersecurity field.
