Owner and Buyer for resort souvenir/logo T-shirt shop located at Kiawah Island. Place all the initial orders for the season via trade shows, rep visits or trade shows. Negotiate with vendors for best terms. Maintain open to buy budget for orders due by month. Hire and manage store manager. Create and maintain all displays in the store for merchandising. Organize and plan store layouts prior to new shipments arriving. Coordinate with the warehouse on receiving of shipments, restocking of the store, supply orders, etc. Plan and implement all markdowns. Keep up with reorders as needed for the store. Track sales by month and buy / mark down accordingly to maintain sales goals / inventory levels. Assist with full store inventories twice a year. Coordinate all marketing and social media. Enter merchandise into POS system.
