As an Art Therapist at UofL Health, my focus on expressive therapy has enabled me to provide crucial support for patients across various age groups and diagnoses. At the University of Louisville, I obtained a Master of Education in Counseling and Personnel Services with a concentration in Art Therapy. That program and my associate licensure period has armed me with robust theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Collaborating closely with clinical staff, I prioritize evidence-based treatment plans and compassionate care.My core competencies in therapy, communication, and interpersonal skills are the pillars of my daily practice. Through individual and group sessions, I facilitate emotional healing and resilience, documenting and tailoring clinical goals to each patient's unique needs. The synthesis of my educational background and hands-on experience at UofL Health solidifies my commitment to advancing mental health through the transformative power of art therapy.
