Built and implemented full-scale organizational privacy programs for an array of companies at all stages and maturations.

Advised on privacy and data protection matters; developed and implemented global privacy programs focused on GDPR and CCPA compliance, including helping some of the world's biggest technology companies navigate high-profile FTC consent decrees. The work I led on FTC consent decrees was highlighted by Chambers in their review of Fenwick & West’s Privacy and Cyber practice, leading to a Band 1 rating in 2021.

Advised on privacy and data protection matters for OneMarket (formerly Westfield Retail Solutions). Led several GDPR privacy initiatives and embedded best practices such as privacy review, Data Protection Impact Assessments, and Privacy by Design within the organization.

Served on Uber's Privacy Legal Team to prepare for and manage its first biennial mandated FTC Consent Order external assessment.

Provided technical and privacy expertise for “Terms of Service” (S4E2).

Worked on initial Product team building TRUSTe's Assessment Manager, one of the first privacy assessment automation tools.Worked with Engineering to clarify product and architectural needs. Developed assessment flows and content to address global privacy laws and frameworks, including a GDPR Readiness Assessment which was distributed to thousands of companies through a partnership with the International Association of Privacy Professionals.

Investigated and litigated privacy matters on behalf of the People and State of California under Kamala Harris. Conducted legal research and drafted memoranda. Participated in NTIA stakeholder meetings regarding facial recognition technology. Developed educational resources for businesses regarding best practices on emerging privacy issues.

Served on in-house legal team for an international, IVP- and Sequoia-backed online publishing network and technology company.

Managed editing and publication of three editions of Law Review from start to finish, bringing rough drafts of student and outside author articles to publication quality. Developed and managed editing timelines for multiple rounds of edits through several editors, interfaced with faculty editors and other University contributors to ensure the highest levels of quality, consistency, and accuracy in the substance and form of each edition.

Served on in-house legal team for social networking company. Conducted continuous website checks for compliance with federal and state laws. Worked with engineering team to develop understanding of back-end processes and technologies involved in compliance issues. Reviewed third-party audit reports of site compliance for accuracy in New York Attorney General enforcement action.

Participated in all stages of litigation preparation for boutique firm focused on qui tam actions related to insurance fraud.
