👋 Hi there! I'm Avery, a multi-disciplinary designer who embraces wearing a great many hats and helping startups scale their businesses through innovative, future-proof designs. Though I've donned many roles in my career, much like Liam Neeson, I have a particular set of skills that I specialize in. I'm an artistic, visual designer, and a seasoned and well-published writer. I love delving into accessible design, the overlap of visual and content design, and the dynamic world of SaaS. And I especially love being among creative people with an appetite for learning, growing, and pushing boundaries while leaving egos at the door.I'm an advocate for diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging in the workplace, have participated as a speaker in a handful of panel discussions, and enjoy teaching and mentoring others to accomplish their goals in their career. When I'm not immersed in design, you can find me fawning over sea otters, drawing, playing golf or chess, or spending time with my partner and our dogs. I'm always learning and trying new things.
