I have officially completed my internship at Bloomington Elementary. I am so glad that I was able to have this opportunity. This has helped me learn more than I could have ever imagined! The staff that I worked with was so accepting and helpful. I chose this internship because I was interested in Early Elementary teaching. This experience has taught me what I would be doing every day as a teacher. It included planning lessons, creating a relationship with the kids, and making old and new things exciting for the students! I prepared for this internship by taking multiple classes in school before. I took Child Development and Teen Living. I babysit for multiple families with younger kids. Being around kids before hand helped me relate to the students a lot better!A couple things that I brought to this internship were...-LEADERSHIP-RELIABILITY-BEING ADJUSTABLE-QUICK LEARNING-INTEGRITY-PROFESSIONALISMThis internship helped me learn so much about teaching and work ethic.
