I am the owner of the commercial relationship between Infineum and chemical suppliers in multiple regions globally, focusing on those that provide contract manufacturing services. My responsibilities include:- Leading the material acquisition and contract management process including supplier qualification, risk assessments, bidding and developing/maintaining commercial agreements to provide a fit for risk approach and decision-making ensuring focus on the highest value, business critical areas- Building and maintaining strategic, director level relationships with suppliers and representing Infineum as the owner of the interface- Developing appropriate sourcing strategies for the materials within my category and ensuring alignment with the relevant Technology, Business and Operations organizations- Effectively negotiating global/strategic contracts, understanding the marketplace drivers and company leverage to ensure supply security at the best available market pricing - Continually reviewing marketplace for new suppliers or innovative approaches to internalize technical and commercial advantages- Driving compliance to business and control processes as well as Infineum sustainability objectives

I am the owner of a major manufacturing unit area directly supported and staffed by 30 colleagues. I am responsible for the overall performance of the unit including safety, environmental regulation compliance, output, quality and customer satisfaction. My responsibilities include:- Accountable for all management of change and risk based decisions in unit area- Drive delivery of unit improvements and initiatives to meet or exceed customer expectations, production capacity, equipment reliability, and product quality metrics- Point contact for global business functions including sales, marketing and global supply chain for long-term, strategic planning - Lead investigations of any unsafe occurrences or environmental releases to identify root causal factors and implement robust actions to prevent recurrence and/or mitigations- Member of the site leadership team which steers the initiatives for the entire site- Set and manage budget and resources for unit- Provide direction and priorities of the engineering team and operators

I facilitate the communication between onsite and offsite engineering design and construction contractors while ensuring designs are fit for purpose and of high quality. I also operate as the liaison to the base organization to coordinate implementation work around daily unit activities and during unit shutdowns.My responsibilities include:- Serve as single point of contact for reviews, communication, and resolution of engineering issues surfacing from the detailed engineering activities.- Ensure effective dialogue with specialists is conducted to: address requests for information, coordination of reviews of equipment specifications being issued to vendors prior to orders, facilitate resolution of issues or discrepancies, and document closure of follow up items.- Escalate impasse or misalignment of issues with management as appropriate and highlight issues and resolutions that might be applicable to other areas of the overall venture.- Raise any potential safety issues or issues that can effect schedule or cost.- Support development of technical, safety and risk management deliverables such as execution plans, construct-ability, human factors, turnover/start-up plans, job specifications, and HAZOPs.

My position provides technical expertise to an assigned manufacturing unit to ensure compliance with environmental regulations, product quality and processes/performance activities. My responsibilities include:- Serve as my unit's technical consultant providing technical leadership and support to the plant to ensure reliability, sustain product quality and enhance unit performance.- Solve operating problems that require technical assistance, and make sure manufacturing process is under control.- Identify and monitor potential problems and develop a plan to effectively apply continuous improvement methods.- Improve safety performance by observing and correcting unsafe acts/conditions

I maintained the safety and well being of 178 residents and provided monthly programs focused on specific areas of wellness development.

I was the team leader in a project oriented course during the fall semester of my freshman year. Our goal was to find a beneficial use for groundwater pumped out of NYC subway tunnels. My team was tasked with providing a solution for one of the main pumping stations in southern Brooklyn. We worked closely with the Metropolitan Transport Authority (MTA) and submitted a report complete with AutoCad designs and feasibility analysis of our final solutions.

I assisted plant engineers and operations staff with troubleshooting quality and process issues in the making of Acrylic Latex, completed feasibility analysis on multiple pending capital investment projects, and I performed studies aimed at increasing process efficiency and performance.

I participated in a National Science Foundation (NSF) funded Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) at the Rutgers University Department of Chemical and Biochemical Engineering. My research project was entitled: Parametric Analysis of Fluid Test Bed Drying of Pharmaceutical Materials. I performed experiments to optimize the fluidized bed drying process in the manufacturing of drug tablets. I also completed professional development and research seminars in order to enhance my skills that are required for a professional research environment.
