As part of the department of Center of Competence my role is to provide leadership, best practices, guidelines and governance to BPM process owners and downstream support.It all began when I successfully demonstrated a proof of concept framework to federate multiple backend processes into a single platform that provided a centralized and universal view for varied workflows. This led to the successful implementation of an extensible platform to give users an aggregated view of different kinds of business processes and corresponding workflows. This loosely coupled platform allows users to track and manage their tasks. The responsive and user persona driven design is based on AngularJS, React, Bootstrap front-end stack with IBM BPM, Websphere as middle tier and a noSQL data layer using Elastic search.I am managing a highly skillful and agile team to deliver new initiatives in the ongoing standardization efforts across Wealth Management.

I was accountable for architecting, design and developing an intranet portal for Wealth Management Financial Advisors. I worked closely with our business partners, Sr. Management, and collaborated with multiple software development units and infrastructure teams.I was successful in leading a team of developers to build a middleware solution using Websphere Portal for content syndication. This provided FA/CSA’s a common platform to interact with many legacy backend processes in a seamless manner. Personalized home page, reminders, advanced search and filters were some of the features that greatly improved the daily functions in the branches.

I was hired as a consultant to lead projects at multiple client locations such as AIG Inc. and Sun Microsystems Inc.I managed both onsite and offshore developments to create direct marketing email software written in Java EE. Clients used this to send out newsletters and announcements periodically to subscribers. In another project I was instrumental in re-engineering and developing a Personal Auto Syndication application to provide online auto insurance service to different partner sites like AigDirect.com.

Involved in developing a software product that would be used in the healthcare industry to biometrically secure healthcare systems and to provide for a single sign-on capability that enhances overall system security and makes the enterprise-wide system easier for physicians and other medical staff to use. Implementing distributed solution using EJB and interfaces as a product requirement. Also programming the flash memory using C and Assembly languages.

I was involved as part of a team developing a Railway automation system that ensured collision avoidance by maintaining a positive separation between trains issuing, and autonomously enforcing rigid movement authorities.Programming in C++.
