I've been involved in numerous projects dealing with Road Design Rehabilitation, Construction, Supervision, Quality Control (QC), Quality Assurance (QA) maintenance management, structural evaluation of highways, rural roads, airfield and railway pavements, paving materials and asphalt technology, and management of highway projects with high-volume budgets.Additional hats I wear involve consultancy on numerous projects, including the main routes in Israel, active membership at the Israeli Standards Committees in Asphalt and Paving materials, and an advisor to the Israeli DOT Department of transport in QA/QC procedures and implementation.I love my job and the freedom it has given me to do what I like most; traveling, working outdoors and solving problems while "getting my hands dirty" rather than sitting in an air-conditioned office (which is also nice sometimes...)
