Machine Learning (10244): Machine Learning (or Computational Learning) is a sub-field in computer science and Artificial Intelligence and intersects Statistics and Optimization theory. The field deals with algorithms, which allow computers to learn from examples and operate in various computational tasks, whereas classical programming is impossible or not economical. Machine learning is a relatively new area and is responsible for recent breakthroughs in Artificial intelligence, Data mining, and automatic knowledge discovery in big data. At its core lies the ability to make computers run "independently" without programming them. This is done by analyzing large quantities of data, pattern recognition, and future forecasting behavior.
