In 1995, I was hired as an Analyst for the U.S. Departments of Justice and Homeland Security . In this role, I identified the opportunity to eliminate $20 million plus in outsourced applications development costs by internally developing programs and systems to facilitate communication between legacy systems.I was awarded “Employee of the Year” for the Department of Justice Los Angeles District in 1998 for developing 2 nationwide database systems supporting law enforcement intelligence efforts. I won several “Best Practice” awards for designing and implementing automated IT systems.

In 2003, I was brought on board at Citadel Capital Management Group. In this position, I researched and developed technologies for both the private equity firm and its portfolio companies. I enabled the financial turnaround of venture capital activities by developing an automated portfolio management system that tracked the development of companies in a flexible corporate lifecycle framework.
