Ai Senior Data Scientist, Carelon Digital Platforms
CurrentAs a Senior Data Scientist at Elevance Health, I spearhead the development of advanced predictive models aimed at precisely targeting populations for intervention, driving impactful healthcare solutions.I was also responsible for impact evaluation using real-world data to ensure the effectiveness of our interventions. After the company announced the closure of the R&D center in Israel, I am open to work and looking for a new role.Key Responsibilities:- Led development of predictive models: Spearheaded the development of advanced predictive models to target populations for healthcare interventions, resulting in a 5-fold increase in user engagement.- Machine Learning model design & implementation: Designed and implemented machine learning prediction models, utilizing real-time prediction pipelines and data ETLs (feature-store of >2K features) to improve efficiency and accuracy. (LightGBM, XGBoost, Logistic Reg., Random Forest, Neural Nets; Model optimization tools: AutoML, H2O)- Causal Inference for impact evaluation: Applied advanced causal inference techniques to develop infrastructure for an automated tool, enabling the evaluation of intervention impacts on user outcomes.(Inverse Probability Weighting (IPW), matching, quazi-experiments (such as Instrumental Variables (IV), Regression Discontinuity (RD), Difference-in-Differences (Diff-in-Diff), double ML, Causal Trees) - Data-driven decision-making: Developed interactive dashboards to empower clinical and product experts with real-time insights, supporting data-driven decision-making.Hackathon organization: Organized an internal hackathon aimed at improving model performance and fostering innovation within the team.- Team leadership: Recruited and mentored new data scientists, contributing to team growth and skill development.Ready for publishing paper I wrote:"Device-Assisted Telehealth Services: Adoption, Engagement, and Impact on Healthcare Costs and Utilization"
