I worked on a short-term project where I developed a comprehensive solution for receipt management. The project involved building the following components:Email Parser Service (Python - AWS Lambda):I created an email parser service using Python and deployed it on AWS Lambda. The service was responsible for fetching incoming emails from customers' email addresses and extracting relevant receipt data. The extracted data was then stored in a PostgreSQL database.Web Application (Ruby on Rails):As part of the project, I developed a web application using Ruby on Rails. This application seamlessly connected to the PostgreSQL database and facilitated the management of line items extracted from email receipts. The web app provided an intuitive user interface for efficient receipt data management.AWS Infrastructure Design:I designed and implemented the AWS infrastructure for the project. This involved configuring an EC2 server and setting up an end-to-end pipeline using various AWS services. Specifically, I leveraged SES for email retrieval, S3 for storage, SQS for message queuing, EventBridge for event-driven architecture, Lambda for serverless functions, and RDS for the PostgreSQL database.By successfully delivering this project, I demonstrated proficiency in Python, Ruby on Rails, AWS Lambda, PostgreSQL, and various AWS services. I showcased my ability to build scalable and real-time solutions that efficiently handle receipt data extraction and management.

Technology: Ruby on Rails, ReactJs, Reactive Native, Graphql, Postgresql, Clickup, MetabaseKey Works: Routing and Constraints Validations, Manage Multitenant Architecture, Driver's Shift Confirmation Workflow, Drivers ATS, Operations Project for Reporting, Features Management, Legacy App Refactor, Backoffice Integration with accounting tools and tank monitoring apis, Inventory management and reconciliation, Recurring Orders, CI/CD with github actions and heroku pipeline, APM and server optimization, Data Comparison and ROI metrices generation using Metabase, Responsibilites: 1. Analysis, design, development, deployment and maintenance of projects with the minimal supervision.2. Write modular, reusable and excellent quality test driven code in Ruby on Rails and implementation of best practices.3. Develop RESTful/GraphQL APIs as needed.4. Actively participate in the code review process.5. Create and maintain technical documentations.6. Conduct meetings with the product team and customers to identify the best optimal solution needed by the customer. 7. Lead and supervise the backend team and plan tasks, communicate new ideas, issues, status and outcomes. 8. Keep an eye on production and performance of servers, and provide fast response in case of bugs or any kind of anomalies. 9. Work on making and improving company's coding standards, policies, processes and working culture.10. Interview new applicants and groom new hires in the backend as needed.11.
