• Avijeet Kumar is a senior development sector professional with more than two decades of work experience in social sector, CSR and sustainability. He has worked in progressively senior management roles in national and international non-profit organizations of India. • Avijeet last worked as Director – Corporate Partnerships in Magic Bus India Foundation, a 25 years old non-profit organization working in the space of education and skilling for adolescents and youths. (October 2024). Here, his work primarily included identifying and securing new corporate donor partnerships and servicing the existing corporate donors of Magic Bus.• As Chief Operating Officer in Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) India, New Delhi, Avijeet assisted in the development and execution of organizational strategies, annual fundraising targets and plans, program grants management, CSR advisory, partnerships and collaborations. • He has crafted business development strategies and led fundraising teams to optimally perform and achieve year on year targets of fundraising (CSR, Employee Giving, Individual Giving, Institutional Giving ). He interfaced key corporate donors on project delivery, servicing, retention, growth and diversification of partnerships. • He has provided oversight to program management teams in project design, development and delivery, with impact. The support included, strategy, due diligence, partnerships, execution, monitoring, capacity building, stakeholders management, reporting, communication, general operations, trouble shooting, donor relationships, collaborations, compliance, and closure.• While in Help Age India, New Delhi, Avijeet strategized, designed and implemented its flagship programs. On his own, he developed and implemented an innovative program on Elders Rights and raised a high value, multi-year fund of INR 3 Cr from DFID. • He has represented his organization, as speaker and panelist, in several international and national strategic conferences and events on CSR & sustainability, Philanthropy, SDGs, and NGO sector, thereby contributing to building brand, winning awards, widening networks, enhancing profile and goodwill of his employer organizations. • Avijeet is a Delhi University topper from Hindu College and a National scholar of Delhi School of Economics. He holds a Masters in Philosophy from Jawaharlal Nehru University and is a recipient of UGC Junior and Senior Research Fellowships. He has also completed a certificate course on designing and implementing social development programs from University of Cape Town, South Africa.
