Also the fish farmers were taught to utilize the waste kept after extracting the oils from… Show more I am working here from last 5 years in Regional Research Center of ICAR-CIFA, Kalyani, West Bengal.Nature of Job : 1- Development of marketing chain of the harvested products of High Value Crops at RRC, ICAR-CIFA, Kalyani for last 4 years as a Agri business component, which includes also process of extracting oil from mustered & sunflower seed cultivated at Kalyani centre and its marketing. Also the fish farmers were taught to utilize the waste kept after extracting the oils from Sunflower & mustard seed as feed for fish and duck. 2- Entrepreneurship development of peoples with value addition of fish at Bali, Sunderban; Damdama, Birbhum; Chanditalla and ICAR-CIFA, Kalyani Centre by Self Help Groups. Taught the people preparation of fish pickle as value addition of fish for small cottage industry. Also guided them for developing marketing chain. 3- Keeping record of various crop produced.4- Involved in Institute Research related works like report writing, making of PPTs, Financial & economical analysis of Farmers growth, Trainings of Tribals, SC/ST & other youths from entire India etc.5- Making arrangement for selling the produced after surveying the market6- Taught the methods of keeping records to enable the farmers to evaluate the profit against the firm investment.7- Guided the farmers in planning to develop a business.8- Maintenance of sale proceeds and office and field record9- For developing livelihood of poor people as a part of extension work, rendered my service for the betterment of the tribal people, both in remote Sunderban, Birbhum and other places and actively took part in the programme, which is a part of Technology Transfer.10- Assisted the office in Finance & Accounts matter and office automation process.
