Economist, with a Master’s in Business Administration. 19 years of experience in multilateral development banking at the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI). CABEI Focus: Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Belize and the Dominican Republic. Extensive work experience with Intermediary Financial Institutions (second-tier banking). Responsible for leading the CABEI area specialized in financial inclusion, entrepreneurship and MSMEs. Responsible for the design, restructuring, administration and implementation of policies, technological tools and financial intermediation programs, current at CABEI, related to social entrepreneurship, microfinance and MSMEs; with special emphasis on innovation, agribusiness, biodiversity, education, social housing, tourism and small renewable energy and energy efficiency projects, taking into account gender and environment issues.
